Growth is a process. Don’t expect yourself to be at the finish line of something you just started. Also, You take a step and God guides. God guides and then you take a step. It’s a back and forth between your action and God’s direction. Take action and follow God’s guidance.
I struggled back and forth for a few weeks on wether or not to share this with the world. It’s easy to share things one on one where you can gauge a person’s response. It’s totally different to put yourself out where the public can see and judge. So here is it. I share with you my struggle and my battle. I share the impact depression has had on me and the steps I have taken in recent months to take a stand a fight against it. My goal is always to be an encouragement and to share the love of Jesus with those I come in contact with. I don’t always hit that goal but I still try. Insecurities!! We all have them. Today I share some of mine. I am doing as guided by God even when it makes me look crazy. Feel free to share your insecurities in the comments. Take your thoughts captive. Rely on God. He has you and will walk you through this. Tell the insecurities to take a back seat as you move forward in this new year. I am moving forward by sharing mine here.
Protection is something we pray for but are you missing the step of preparation. God is preparing and equiping us for the battle ahead, for the trials and struggles we will face. He isn’t going to just remove us from hard situations but he will protection us through preparing us for them. That is what we need to do for this next generation. Pray for preparations and protection.
